Participants choosing the Mumbai package are required to arrive at the specified location and time.
Vehicles will be waiting outside the station when you arrive to board for your upcoming road trip. Breakfast will be served on the way to Matheran.

Upon arriving at Aman Lodge Parking (3 KM from Matheran Railway Station). There are three ways for participants to reach Matheran.

1. Trek to the Hill Station
2. Take a Toy-Train Ride
3. Horse/Hand-Cart Ride

As a hiker, you are not needed to use a toy train or a horse or hand cart on this trail, but you are open to doing so at your own expense. Rucksacks or carry bags are favored when going on such trails. Avoid traveling with a trolley or duffel bag. Make all of your calls before starting the trek because Matheran only has access to the Airtel and Vodafone networks. 

Complete the check-in procedures at the hotel once you arrive. Hot Delicious lunch will be served. After relaxing in your hotel for a while, venture out to discover this serene hill station and stop by some of its most well-known viewpoints, including Charlotte Lake, Louisa Point, and Echo Point. Before being transported back to your hotel for the night, you can then take a stroll down the mall road and indulge in a little shopping. Enjoy a satisfying meal to cap off the day.

Trek Duration: 04-05 Hours | Trek Distance: Approx. 09 KMs

The hike you take today may be the most picturesque one you take in Matheran. We will begin our trek right away after finishing breakfast at the hotel. The guide or instructor will only decide between the Garbett Plateau Trek and the Peb Fort Trek depending on the weather conditions and the fitness of the participants.

People who want to explore the Maharashtra mountains or who want to see nature at its most beautiful are thought of as entering through Peb Fort. You can view the entire Matheran Hill range in 360 degrees. On top of Peb fort, there is a small temple dedicated to Peb Devi. The goddess Peb Devi is the source of the name Peb fort. The history of this fort is not well known. It is believed that Captain Dickinson visited this fort in 1818. Because of its elephant-headed shape, this mountain is also known as Vikatgad Fort. Views of the Chanderi Fort, Nakhind, Tavli, Navra-Navri, Malang Gad, Prabalgad, Kalavantin Durg, and Dhom Lake can be seen from the top.

The Garbett Point Trek is a fantastic location to take in the splendour of nature. Explore the charming pathways, verdant forests, clean air, stunning lake, waterfalls with forest sounds, tranquil lakes, and peaceful streams. Garbett Plateau, a stunning location southwest of Matheran, provides a mesmerising 360-degree view of Matheran’s all-time favourite hill station. The point, which spans about 8 square kilometres of the Sahyadris, was first identified back in 1850. Get the chance to visit this breathtaking location and experience the natural beauty of the surroundings while hiking.

You can trek through the breathtaking terrain of the Garbett Plateau and take in its beauty through this activity. Enjoy Matheran’s stunning scenery and the opportunity to see reverse waterfalls.

By the afternoon, we will begin the hike down to our hotel. We will arrive at our hotel in about one to one and a half hours, where a hot lunch will be provided. The rest of the day is free for participants to unwind, go shopping, or play team games at the hotel.
